I've commented before on this. The RSS is really a mixed blessing. It makes Jaiku more powerful but does add to the clutter. I think we need is a level of filtering that goes beyond just being able to unsubscribe from feeds.
Somewhat subjective actually. Some people prefer the simplicity of Twitter and aren't interested in RSS. I expect that in the long run all of these services will come together on features and it will become more a matter of how they are implemented.

You can also unsubscribe from the feeds you don't want to follow :)

@jyri and @theuer: i love the jabber bot! its the best way to get notifications and post back really quick
But I dont use email. cant see myself having to read all of those....

@lsherman: yes. we need tags, and a way to select which tags to rss, and to subscrive to our overview

The good thing about Jaiku is that you can choose to not get information, with Twitter you have no choice as there is no information to follow.
